It’s not every day you find yourself in Hawaii. But a recent work trip brought me here for the second time in less than a year, so I had to take advantage. My quick visit to Pearl Harbor felt like the first real repeat park thus far on my journey (which feels pretty good for #17!). I had been to Mount Rushmore when I was younger, but it had been so long it still felt new. Since I’d just visited this memorial last November and taken the boat tour to the USS Arizona Memorial, I opted for a short stop by the site to honor those who lost their lives for our country here.
