Anacostia park, situated Southeast of Washington DC along the Anacostia River, provides unique views of Washington and the Nationals Baseball Stadium. This was a great example of an “off the beaten path” visit as park of my parks tour. I don’t think a visit to DC would typically bring tourists here, but it allowed me to see any area of the city I wouldn’t have before!
