A long weekend in DC meant lots of National Park touring and thousands and thousands of steps on my new Alta FitBit. The first stop was the Old Post Office Tower, just off the National Mall on Pennsylvania Avenue. The tower is currently closed as the building is undergoing renovations. It was built in 1899 and normally visitors can go to the top of of the clocktower for beautiful views of Washington, DC.
