Our final stop during this whirlwind DC weekend was at the Korean War Veterans Memorial. This memorial honors the soldiers from around the world who fought in the Korean War. The monument was completed in 1995 and is one of the most realistic and chilling. In addition to the statues, a wall along the edge of the memorial features faces of soldiers.
