On quick visit to Minneapolis for a concert, we visited the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area. The Mississippi winds right through downtown Minneapolis and offers beautiful views for those both on the water and enjoying activities on either side. The city features many bike trails right along the river and the beautiful Stone Arch pedestrian bridge in the Mill District.

We enjoyed the view of the Mississippi from the Betty Danger’s Ferris Wheel.
