Castle Clinton sits in Battery Park on the southern-most tip of Manhattan. Originally built as a fort, it has served as theater, immigration center (prior to Ellis Island) and an aquarium. Now, tourists pass through it daily to board the boats to visit the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.

This stop marked marked my 75th National Parks visit along my tour. Only 25 to go!
