The last stop on my New York National Parks trip, Ellis Island was one of the most fascinating stops yet. Standing in the registry room, you could imagine the thousands of immigrants who came to American passing through this beautiful space (that architecture, though!). The museum featured countless photos, articles, drawings, passports, post cards and other items to share the stories of these immigrants.
