Hot Springs National Park

Hot Springs National Park protects elegant bathhouses built in the early 1900s for wellness and rejuvenation among the elites. The were built in the style of European bathhouses and the original, ornate details have been beautifully restored. Many well-known people visited the bathhouses in the 1900s, from gangsters to politicians to baseball players, each came to enjoy the water’s rejuvenating powers.

Water from the park’s natural hot springs is still available for bathing or drinking and is also used by a local craft brewery – the only brewery to sit within a National Park. Fountains within the downtown are used by visitors and locals alike to fill jugs of the elixir.
