The next leg of the #My100Parks quest began by crossing over three National Historic Trails: the Santa Fe National Historic Trail, Oregon National Historic Trail and the California National Historic Trail. Each track the path of early settlers traveling west toward fertile soil and the promise of riches during the gold rush. These routes moved both people and goods across the country during the 1800s on covered wagons.
